Elephant Pendant

I’m currently in the middle of playing the mind game called “do I need this, or do I want this?” The current object of my obsession is a white elephant pendant at a nearby boutique. I’ve fallen in love with it, and let’s face it, there’s no stopping a girl in love.

Animal jewelry is not just a recent love. My grandmother owned the most amazing serpent bangle with emerald eyes. There’s something about it that’s a little bit magical.

Jane from Sea of Shoes recently did a post about animal accessories, and her fox belt was kick ass.

I'll be doing some more hunting for animal pieces around town, but most likely I'll cave and go for the elephant pendant.

Happy Hunting!

Yay Daisy!

Daisy Lowe just might be my new favorite It Girl. The British rock princess is Gavin Rossdale's daughter, but definitely doesn't use her daddy's fame to make her own.

The black lipstick is so Gothic. Love it!

She also recently stated that she didn't want anyone doing drugs at her 21st birthday party. Gotta give the girl props for that!

She's always sporting that effortless British grunge-glam. People pay boatloads for the just-rolled-out-of-bed sexy that she has naturally.

For the love of all that is holey.

Not only do I give Designer Mark Fast a giant high-five for his use of curvy models, but his line of fitted holey knitwear is so fun. It looks like Freddy Krueger has finally gotten his claws into the world of high fashion.
The pieces have the perfect amount of rock and roll drama. Just make sure you have a nude slip handy. hehehe.

Save the Animals

I am a hardcore animal lover. Therefore I would not commend the use of real fur for the sake of fashion.

However...I have been trying to score a sweet faux fur vest.

The look is awesome with something sleek on the bottom, like leggings. The military jacket underneath even looks cool.

Ok Ok so these boots are the main reason I posted this picture, but I love the fur vest. It's like 5th avenue chic meets hippie cool. A better combination than chocolate and peanut butter...well almost.
